Meet Bilal Sami

Leaving Lahore for London meant starting again in a place that was unfamiliar and, at times, deeply unwelcoming. Like many immigrant families, Bilal’s journey was shaped by hope, uncertainty, adaptation and the search for a sense of belonging. Living across different countries and cultures gave him a deeper understanding of what it means to leave one place behind while carrying its memories with you. Those experiences became part of the questions that would eventually inspire Bloody Immigrants.
